With the month of March, it is usually the start of the Spring Haunt Trade Shows and Conventions, and after a total lock down in 2020, people are really REALLY ready to get back to the in person feel of the shows. Joining us on the Roundtable of Terror are three convention organizers ready to welcome the fans back, with safety precautions of course. Mark Norwood of Metrotham Con, Stephanie Freas of Carolina Fear Fest, and Paul Lanner of Haunters Against Hate, The Event, all join us to discuss the previous year, see what the future holds, and they way they are working to give the fans a fantastic, but safe, show.

After years of trying, Badger finally has an interview with the organizer of the Rondo Awards, David Colton. If you don’t know what the Rondo Awards are, keep listening.

BIG SCARY SHOW – Episode 227 – Welcome to 2021

You made it! It’s 2021 and you survived what’s probably been the worst year in modern history for many reasons. For those who lost family and friends, we offer our sincere condolences. Thankfully, there’s a light at the end of the proverbial tunnel and the Big Scary Show is hoping to guide you along as we all make our way into a (hopefully) better year. After all, it’s only 10 months until October.

Storm will be ranting as always in a Haunt Minute. Meathook Jim brings us a new Between the Corpses. Badger reads the latest in Deadline News. Jerry Vayne rocks in the new year with some great music. And Vysther is back talking about the new Wonder Woman movie during his Halloween Vista segment. We gave the Gruesome Giveaway the week off so it could get ready for a great January giveaway next show.

The Roundtable of Terror reflects back on the year that was. Was it good for the (g)hosts? Was there optimism during the conversation? Did 2020 just weigh everyone down too much?
