It’s almost September and we’re counting down the days until haunt season opens. The Big Scary Show has been with you since the end of last season with everything you needed to know and now it’s almost time to get spooky again.

Storm rants about Halloween and AirBnb’s in a haunt minute. Meathook Jim takes us to Korea in Between the Corpses. Badger reads the latest in Deadline News. There’s a trio of spooky tunes from Midnight Syndicate to keep you motivated while working in those haunts. The Old Crone is bringing part 2 of her interviews from the NW Arkansas Comic Con so there’s no ‘Ask the Old Crone’ segment this week but it will return next week. Plus there’s an announcement about the Gruesome Giveaway you will want to hear.

The Roundtable of Terror welcomes back two haunt owners who were not open in 2020 but are back for the 2021 season. Ed Gannon and Chris Ainsworth discuss why they decided to close last year and the changes their haunts have made in order to make them safer (and scarier) than before. We can’t wait to hear how their results will pay off. All this and so much more.

Finally!  The world is trying to get back to normal, and Transworld is back!  Badger braves the trip to St. Louis to attend the trade show, which took over the ENTIRE America’s Center this year, and he brought us back interviews with Allen Hopps, Brian Demski, The Voice from Hell himself, Dick Terhune, Ed Douglas of Midnight Syndicate, Maximus Bryant of the Ohio Haunters Association, John LaFlamboy with the Zombie Army, and one of the original       ( and still) sponsors of the show, Von Charon Productions.  Badger also gets an update on Steve Koci, and how you can send him best wishes.

The Roundtable of Terror offers up a trio of electric chairs to Japes Palles, Andy Arrasmith and Matt Clayton, as we discuss the training process, how it will possibly differ this year, and due to social distancing, the need for veteran actors to carry the season.
